There are a total of 32 different Skylanders Characters in Spyro’s Adventure.
Each Character belongs to one of 8 groups. Each group wields a different Element, these are Magic, Earth, Water, Fire, Tech, Undead, Air and Life.

Magic Figures from Spyros Adventure
The Magic figures are Spyro, Double Trouble, Wrecking Ball and Voodood. This group of Skylanders use the power of Magic to destroy their enemies. Magic characters in their toy form, stand on a pedestal covered in stars and moons.
Magic Figures from Giants
In this game Spyro, Double Trouble and Wrecking Ball remain, but are in a slightly different pose. We have lost Voodood, but gained Pop Fizz. Pop Fizz is also available in a Lightcore version. A red version of Pop Fizz, called Punch Pop Fizz, is exclusive to the 3DS Starter Pack. The Magic Giant is Ninjini.
Earth Figures from Spyros Adventure
The Earth figures are Bash, Dino-Rang, Prism Break and Terrafin. This team of figures use the power of the Earth and Soil to damage their opponents. Earth types, stand on a pedestal of brown rocks and blue crystals.
Earth Figures from Giants
Bash, Prism Break and Terrafin are Earth figures in this game. We have lost Dino-Rang, but now have Flashwing. There is also a LightCore version of Prism Break. The Earth Giant is Crusher. There is also a special edition of Crusher, known as Granite Crusher.
Water Figures from Spyros Adventure
The Water figures are Gill Grunt, Slam Bam, Zap and Wham-Shell. This group of figures use the Element Water, and Ice to combat their adversaries. Water figures in their toy form, stand on a pedestal of turquoise water.
Water Figures from Giants
The returning water element figures are Gill Grunt, Slam Bam and Zap. There is no Wham-Shell in the this game, but Chill is a new figure. There is also a Legendary version of Slam Bam. In addition, there is a LightCore version of Chill. The Water Element Giant is Thumpback.
Fire Skylanders Characters from Spyros Adventure
The Fire figures are Ignitor, Sunburn, Flameslinger and Eruptor. This group of figures use the power of the Element Fire, and Lava to destroy their enemies. Fire figures, stand on a pedestal of flames.
Fire Skylanders Characters from Giants
The returning, but reposed Fire figures in this game are Ignitor, Flameslinger and Eruptor. Sunburn didn’t make it to the new game, but instead there is Hot Dog. There is also an exclusice gold version of Flameslinger. The Lightcore Fire figure is Eruptor. The Giant is Hot Head.
Tech Skylanders Characters from Spyros Adventure
The Tech figures are Trigger Happy, Boomer, Drill Sergeant and Drobot. This group of figures use Technology, such as guns to destroy their enemies. Tech figures, stand on a pedestal of balck and gray cogs and gears.
Tech Skylanders Characters from Giants
The reposed Tech figures in this game are Trigger Happy, Drill Sergeant and Drobot. Boomer is not in this game, and has been repleaced by Sprocket. The LightCore Tech toy is LightCore Drobot. The Giant Tech is Bouncer.
Undead Skylanders Characters from Spyros Adventure
The Undead Characters are Cynder, Hex, Chop Chop and Ghost Roaster. This group of figures use the power of the Undead to help them defeat enemies. Undead figures in their toy form, stand on a pedestal that looks like a White Skull. The Skull glows in the dark.
Undead Skylanders Characters from Giants
The returning figures in this game are Cynder, Hex and Chop Chop. Ghost Roaster is not in this game, but is replaced by Fright Rider. The LightCore toy for this element is Hex. The Undead Giant is Eye-Brawl.
Air Skylanders Characters from Spyros Adventure
The Air characters are Sonic Boom, Whirlwind, Lightning Rod and Warnado. This group of figures uses the Element Air to generate wind and storms to destroy enemies. Air characters in their toy form, stand on a pedestal of clouds.
Air Skylanders Characters from Giants
The returning Air figures are Whirlwind, Sonic Boom and Lightning Rod. Warnado has been replaced by Jet-Vac. There is also a Legendary version of Jet-Vac. In addition, there is a LightCore version of Jet-Vac. The Air Element Giant is Swarm.
Life Skylanders Characters from Spyros Adventure
The Life figures are Camo, Stump Smash, Zook and Stealth Elf. This group of figures use their abilities to create Living Things, such as plants. Life characters in their toy form, stand on a pedestal of green leaves.
Life Skylanders Characters from Giants
The returning Life figures are Stump Smash, Zook and Stealth Elf. Camo did not make it to this game, and has been replaced by Shroom Boom. There is also a LightCore verison of Shroom Boom. The Life Giant is Tree Rex.

My 6 year old grandson loves this game. Unfortuneately, speculators have bought up and hoarded all the characters. They are impossible to find. Make more!!!!!
my family and i like this game but it is impossible to find characters. my kids are 6 and 4 they just want to pick out a character they like. please make more.
I know where there is millions of skylanders. There is a toys R us shop on the A54. I bought L-trigger happy and the triple pack for lightning rod, zook and cinder!!!!!!!!!
Aand there is loads of singe packs,triple packs ANDVENTURE PACKS includind the dragons peak (outhough it may be gone cause it’s so popular) and some starter kits.

I have just found out that Camo and Warnado have been seen in shops. Wham-Shell is the last of the Skylanders to be released, and no news of that yet.
