Skylanders Eruptor belongs to a very rare species who are able to live in volcanoes. He happily grew up in the lava of a dormant volcano, until one day it erupted and force him and all the rest of his village to the surface. As you can image he is a bit of a hot-head, and easily fumes, steams and erupts all over. Despite his short temper, this fiery character is a powerful Skylander who helps defend the Skylands from evil.
Series 1 Skylanders Eruptor
This is the original figure from the Spyro’s Advenure video game. 
He is a pretty comical figure, and basically looks like he is made from cooling Magma. The base of this figure is made of green plastic, indicating he is a Series 1 figures, and the base of the toy is decorated with flames, showing he belongs to the Fire Element group of Skylanders. The Series 1 figure can be used in the Giants game.
Series 2 Skylanders Eruptor
This version of the figure has orange plastic under the base, showing it belongs to the Giants game. The Series 2 version has a slightly different pose from the Series 1 toy. In addition to looking slightly different, the Series 2 figure also plays slightly differently. He has a special “Wow Pow” upgrade power, and also at a certain point in the game there is a choice of upgrade path. You can either concentrate on improving his Lava Lob attacks or his Eruption attacks.
Lightcore Eruptor
Skylanders Eruptor is one of eight regularly sized figures that feature lightcore technology (all eight of the Giants have this also). Lightcore technology means that the toy lights up when put on or near the Portal of Power. I think this is a pretty awesome feature, and the lightcore figurelooks really cool. When you put him on the portal the inside of his mouth glows orange, making him look like he really is made from lava. When you put a lightcore Skylander on the portal, you also get an initial blast of energy that destroy’s nearby enemies.
Silver Eruptor
This is a very, very rare Skylanders figure. This toy was made in very limited quantities for the Spyro’s Adventure game. Silver Eruptor is basically the same as a regular Series 1 figure, but painted entirely in silver. Even the base of flames is silver. This silver figure appeared on stores shelves next to the regular versions at random, and before long, this rare figure was appearing on sites such as Amazon or Ebay for large amounts of money. You can still find the Silver version online, but be prepared to pay a lot of money for him! It’s also important to know that event though the Silver figure looks really cool, he plays and looks exactly like a regular figure in the video game.
White Flocked Eruptor
White Flocked Eruptor is an extremely rare figure, produced for the Giants game. I don’t know how many of these figures have actually produced, but they appear randomly in stores. Some are in single packs, while others are packaged in triple packs along with regular figures. The White Flocked figure is basically a Series 2 figure, but covered in a white flocking material. There is also a White Flocked Stump Smash and Prism Break. Although White Flocked Eruptor looks pretty awesome, hw will look and play exactly like a regular Series 2 figure in the video game.

The Series 1 figure is available in a single character pack, and in a triple pack along with Series 1 Chop Chop and Series 1 Bash. The Series 2 figure is available in a single character pack. Lightcore Eruptor is available in a single character pack, and a triple pack, along with lightcore Prism Break and Lightcore Drobot. Silver Eruptor, if you are lucky enough to find one, is available in a single character pack.

Max’s Review
Eruptor is one of my favorite Skylanders . I like all his attacks. I like his fire ball throw, cause it looks cool and does lots of damage. I like his lava pool attack especially when you upgrade it to shoot fire balls out. I still like, I guess his weakest attack, which is to shoot magma balls out of his mouth and they just roll away. I like him because he affects zombies as their weaks40yjness is fire and cannons and so he is especially good for that. I have a rocket hat that you can find in a troll level, the troll warehouse. My favorite move is the lava pool attack.
