belongs to the Air Element group of figures. She returned again in the Skylanders Giants video game. I don’t know yet if she will make a 3rd appearance in the highly anticipated Skylanders Swap Force game, due for release in Fall 2013. We will have to wait and see! Skylanders Sonic Boom is a powerful Griffin Skylanders. She is a very protective mother, and hid away on a mountain top to escape the dangers of the outside world, and to keep her offspring safe. Unfortunately, a wicked wizard discovered her and put a curse on her eggs. The terrible spell means that once her eggs hatch, the young griffins only live for a short time before they magically return to their shells. They then hatch again, and the whole cycle continues again and again and again. She then decided to become a Skylander, and try to prevent such terrible things happening to others. She has also trained her griffins to help defend the Skylanders too, each time they hatch.
Series 1 Skylanders Sonic Boom
This figure was produced for the Spyro’s Adventure video game, and has green plastic at the bottom of the base. As I mentioned above, she belongs to the Air Element group of figures and so has a base covered in clouds. She is a pretty cool figure, she is a dark blue colored griffin, that wears a silver helmet. This Series 1 figure will also play in the Giants game.
Series 2 Skylanders Sonic Boom
The Series 2 figure, was designed for the Giants video game and has orange plastic at the bottom of the base. This figure has a slightly different pose to the Series 1 version, and also includes one of her Hatchlings. This figure also has a special “Wow Pow” upgrade power, and at a certain point in the game there is a choice of more than one upgrade path. You can decide to concentrate on improving her Roar Attacks or the Hatchling Attacks. Series 2 Sonic Boom will play in the original Spyro’s Adventure game.
Glow In The Dark Sonic Boom
The awesome glow in the dark Sonic Boom was produced as a Walmart exclusive for the Giants game. This figure was originally found in quite large amounts in Walmart stores, but has now become rarer. You can find her on sits such as Amazon or eBay. The glow in the Dark figure is basically the same as a Series 2 figure, but painted in glow in the dark paint. However, even thought the figure looks very different, it will play and look exactly the same as a regular version in the video game itself.
Pearl Sparkle Sonic Boom
This is an extremely rare figure that was designed for the Giants video game. Pearl Sparkle Sonic Boom has only been produced in small quantities, and is found randomly on shelves next to the regular version. She is basically a Series 2 figure, but painted with White metallic paint, and silvery glitter, to give the pearl sparkle effect. It is important to know that just like the glow in the dark version, she looks and plays just like the regular version in the video game. If you want to find her, the best places to look are Amazon or eBay. Such is the demand for this figure, I have seen her priced a $250 on Amazon!

I like her cause he can make babies and they grow, if you upgrade them they can fly and they shoot enemies for you. He can fly and can also use sound wave attacks. The eggs shoot out of his mouth, they hatch and also damage enemies if they land on one. They stay with her and attack enemies until they are destroyed. My favorite move is egg babies.
