Skylanders Sunburn The Phoenix Dragon Figure

Skylanders Sunburn was one of the very last figure to be released from the Spyro’s Adventure game. He was actually sold as part of the Dragon’s Peak Adventure Pack. He is a really great character, and because Activision waited so long to release him there was a lot of excitement surrounding the release of his character. Unfortunately, Sunburn did not make it to the Giants game, which was a surprise as he’s great fun to play. Activision recently released information about a new game called Skylanders Swap Force, due for release in Fall 2013. Perhaps Sunburn might come back for another appearance, we’ll have to wait and see.

Skylanders Sunburn has a strange heritage being part dragon and part phoenix. He is the only known hybrid of a phoenix and dragon in existance in the Skylands. Unfortunately, this means that many evil wizards and bounty hunters have tried to catch him and unlock the secets of his teleporting abilities. Master Eon gave Sunburn protection, when he made him a Skylander, and in return the brave Phoenix Dragon fights against evil in the Skylands.

The Skylanders Sunburn Figure

This is a pretty awesome toy, and was designed for the Spyro’s Adventure game. The figure as green at the bottom of the base. The base of the figure is decorated in flames, showing that he belongs to the Fire Element group of characters. No surprise there! The figure, as you would expect looks like a combination of a griffin and a dragon. He has red and yellow feathers, and four tallons. The figure looks like he’s swooping in to attack!

Playing Skylanders Sunburn

Basic Abilities are available at the start of the game and they are:

Flamethrow Breath – Primary Ability – He breathes fire at opponents.
Immolation Teleport – Secondary Ability – He teleports to another area, leaving a damaging flame to destroy enemies.

There are then a number of upgrades and these include:

Phoenix Grand Blaze
Flame Streaks
Burning Trail
