Skylanders Wham Shell The Mighty Water Figure

Skylanders Wham Shell was one of the last figures we bought for the Spyro’s Adventure video game. This elusive figure was in the final wave of characters, and didn’t reach stores until summer 2012. Such was the demand for this figure, when it finally went on sale, stocks sold out really fast. We actually managed to get our Wham Shell when we were on vacation in England. I was surprised that Wham Shell did not return for the Skylanders sequel, called Skylanders Giants. With news of a third game, called Skylanders Swap Force, due for released in Fall 2013, I am wondering whether we might see a return of this awesome character. We shall have to wait and see!

skylanders wham shell Long ago, Wham Shell was the ruler of an underwater kingdom, until peace was shattered by a group of oil drilling trolls. The trolls scattered his poor subjects all over the oceans of the Skylands. Armed with his giant gold mace, Wham Shell defeated the nasty trolls, and brought order back to his kingdom. He then decided to become a Skylander, and fight against evils lie this from ever happeneing again.

Skylanders Wham Shell is a Water Element figure, and so has a pedestal that is decorated in turquoise water. The Wham Shell figure itself is pretty cool. He is a metallic reddish brown color, with an enormous set of teeth and blue eyes. He carry’s a giant gold mace. The figure has green plastic at the bottom of the base showing that he is a Series 1 figure, designed for the Spyro’s Adventure game.

Crystal Wham Shell

crystal wham shell This is an extremely rare figure that was sold exclusively in a GameStop “Ultimate Bundle Pack”. This pack contained a huge number of figures and three Adventure packs, and this very rare crystal figure. The bundle pack is no longer available, but you can find single packs of this elusive figure on sites such as Amazon.

Wham Shell is a Water Skylander. This group of Skylanders use the Element Water, and Ice to combat their adversaries. The color of this element is blue. Water Skylanders in their toy form, stand on a pedestal of turquoise water.

Malacostacan Mace – Primary Strength – Wham-Shell swings his giant mace to destroy enemies.
Starfish Bullets – Secondary Strength – Wham-Shell shoots starfish bullets from his mace, to battle opponents.

Wham Shell is available in a single character pack from sites such as Amazon or eBay. If you are very lucky you might even be able to find the elusive Crystal Wham Shell. However, be prepared to pay a lot of money!
